Tibidabo

Tibidabo is the oldest amusement park in Spain. We went on some old fashioned rides that actually scared us! There's also a huge church on the top of the mountain.

Tarragona

Tarragona was once a center of the Roman empire. We saw ruins, ate great food, and went to a beautiful beach with the softest sand!

Street Performer

Las Ramblas is an interesting place to be.

The Monastery at Montserrat

Montserrat is a monastery on top of a mountain a few hours outside of Barcelona. It was one of themost beautiful places we've visited on this whole trip.

We Love Gaudi and Picasso

The inside of La Sagrada Familia was very interesting. This is definitely one cathedral that's worth the trip!
Everybody went crazy with their photography at La Pedrera!

The roof at La Pedrera was gorgeous and the view of the streets below us were so clear.
At the Picasso museum photography isn't allowed. We learned a lot about his changing styles throughout the years, some of which were completely new to me.

After visiting the museum we had a drawing workshop practicing different styles inspired by Picasso. This drawing is by Ericka.

Freixenet and Dinner

We loved visiting the Freixenet winery. We went deep underground into the cellars and also through the packing areas. Freixenet is one of the most famous cava makers in the world. We got to try some great grape juice in the wine tasting room!

All the girls went out to dinner in the Gothic Quarter at a place called Princesa 23. We love the paella and tapas!

Exploring

Dani and I got lost on a walk and stumbled upon a beautiful park that we wanted to explore. There were impressive buildings, fountains, statues, and people practicing acrobatics, and we wondered how we had stumbled upon such a cool place that was so relatively tourist-free. Then we walked a little further and realized that it was the same park that we walk through almost every day as a short cut, but had never bothered to explore!
